The Manzo family was picking up a pizza for dinner when a Toyota RAV4 crashed through the glass windows in the front of the restaurant and impacted directly with the mother and two young children.  All three suffered severe injuries with the collision, as the two children were pinned under the vehicle.

KTL thought outside of the box and named the shopping center in the lawsuit for failing to place bollards to stop vehicles from running up the curb.

Throughout litigation, defendants denied any liability for the crash. Ultimately, as trial grew closer, the parties were able to settle for $1,400,000. This settlement was chosen as one of the Top 50 in California for 2016.
