6-year-old plaintiff was taken to the hospital after reports of double vision and headaches.  Several physicians failed to recognize for two weeks plaintiffs rise in interocular pressure, along with a misdiagnosis for meningitis.  Because of the delay, the pressure caused irreversible damage to plaintiff’s eyes, rendering the child permanently blind in one eye and mostly blind in the other.
