KTL secured a settlement of $662,500 for a mother, Dana, and child, Sofeah, who were seriously injured when a pickup truck hit them while riding a moped in Nevada.  A Cox Communications pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection, colliding with our clients, who had the right of way going through the intersection.  The impact caused both Dana and Sofeah to fly off of the moped.  Sofeah sustained fractures of her arm and ankle, along with abdominal injuries, and Dana injured her right arm, elbow, and knee.

After an early round of offers was sent by the defense, the parties agreed to mediation and were able to successfully settle for $662,500 total.
