Kramer Trial Lawyers is proud to share that Dan Kramer, Brandon Salumbides, and Stuart B. Esner have been named finalists for the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) 2026 Street Fighter of the Year award for their work in Munguia v. County of San Bernardino.
The case, recognized under the theme “An Immigrant Fights Off a County’s Effort to Trivialize His Injuries,” involved a hard-working immigrant hurt when a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department employee turned into his path. The County admitted liability but fought hard to minimize the injuries. The jury saw through that strategy and awarded full compensation, and the Court of Appeal later affirmed. Read CAOC’s announcement of the 2026 finalists. Winners will be announced November 14, 2026, at CAOC’s Annual Installation and Awards Dinner in San Francisco.
