His guest, Patrick Malone, author of “The Fearless Cross-Examiner,” shows us how to cross-examine a professional witness who has more courtroom time than many plaintiffs’ lawyers. He also demonstrates how he approaches that same witness when he is insinuating that your client’s injuries are fake or exaggerated. Malone will use his cross from his recent verdict in US District Court – Greenbelt MD, in which a federal judge in a bench trial awarded damages of $3.3 million in a case of a sprained ankle that turned into complex regional pain syndrome.
