Kramer Trial Lawyers is proud to announce a $3,773,873 jury verdict for our client, an assistant high school principal injured at a newly constructed high school.
Dan Kramer and Adam Manaa tried the case at the Governor George Deukmejian Courthouse in Long Beach. Our client was hurt on an uneven concrete surface outside a new student services building. School officials had already identified the condition as a tripping hazard. The general contractor failed to correct it. The fall caused injuries that required surgery to the knee and wrist, harm that never should have happened, and the same hazard led to other injuries on the site.
The defense contested responsibility. After hearing the evidence, the Long Beach jury returned a verdict of $3,773,873. We are grateful to the jurors for their time and careful consideration, and proud of our team for taking this case to trial.
This result is part of KTL’s work on premises liability and construction cases where known hazards are left unfixed.
